David Holloway is the Vicar of Jesmond. Having worked previously in the Sudan, Leeds and on the staff of Wycliffe Hall Theological College, Oxford, he was for many years a member of the General Synod of the Church of England. He then helped start the Christian Institute, Reform and Anglican International Development (AID). He's still involved in all of these.

Jonathan is Senior Minister of JPC, and on the executive committee of the Anglican Mission in England. He worked as a civil engineer before ordination and was a curate in Corby in the East Midlands before joining the staff of JPC in 1988. He is married to Vivienne and they have three adult children, one daughter-in-law and one grandchild.

Jonathan is responsible for small groups, evangelism, discipleship and pastoral care. Having worked as a Parish Assistant at JPC, he then served as an Intern with Josh McDowell Ministry in the USA. He worked as a History teacher in North Shields before ordination having studied at Cranmer Hall, Durham. He was a curate in Kidsgrove in the North West before returning to JPC staff in 1997. He is married with 3 children.

Ian's role involves Bible teaching, training leaders and meeting people one-to-one. He previously worked in student ministry, first in churches in Oxford and then Cambridge (where he studied for ministry), before here at JPC. Ian is married to Tess and they have three young children.

Ramzi is an Assistant Minister at JPC and his role involves leading the central team. He is chair of the World Mission committee, clergy oversight for Celebrate Recovery and helps run our Life, Christianity and Discipleship Explored Courses. He joined staff in 1998 and for many years coordinated the internationals work at the church, which he continues to be involved in locally and nationally with Friends International. He and his wife have 3 young children.

Jon is one of our assistant ministers with responsibility for the JPC Site Team. He grew up in a Christian home, committing his life to Jesus aged 10. He previously lived in the north of Scotland, serving as a lay elder in his local church while working as RAF aircrew. Jon is married to Debs and they have three energetic boys.

Andy is an ex-primary teacher and sales manager who heads up the under 11s programme. He enjoys writing and recording Bible songs and is married to Fiona with five children.

As Women’s Worker, Liz is responsible for overseeing many of the activities and groups that go on for women at JPC and aims to encourage and support many of the women in the congregation in their ministries. She had the blessing of being brought up in a Christian home, the gospel came alive to her at CYFA holiday camps as a teenager and her faith was tested and grown at University at Newcastle. In previous years she has worked for JPC as a Parish Assistant, student worker and after theological college worked again at JPC as a church worker. She had a break from work to have three lovely kids and most recently enjoyed teaching RE in a local school.

Catherine co-ordinates the Celebrate Recovery ministry. Thankful to God for her own recovery from anorexia and bulimia, she is passionate to tell others of God's desire to help them overcome life's hurts and destructive behaviours and thinking.

Carolyn became a Christian when she was a child and went to Capernwray Bible College at age 18. Her background is in nursing and Intensive Care Trauma, with an interest in Bereavement support, and she is also a qualified counsellor. Her role on staff is as a pastoral visitor and support for Prime Time. Carolyn moved from London 10 years ago and has been attending JPC since. She is married to Gareth and they have 3 children.

Ben works with the many internationals in the JPC church family. He co-ordinates JPC Internationals and oversees the Mandarin Fellowship. Day by day this involves planning, giving regular talks, training leaders and meeting with internationals to read the Bible with them.

Originally from Cumbria, Hannah grew up in a Christian family and developed her faith at university in Newcastle whilst studying Biomedical Science. After graduating she joined the staff team as a Parish Assistant and now works as the Children's Worker, focusing mainly on work with 7-11 year olds.

Through witness of Christian parents, Andrew committed his life to Christ at an early age. He first arrived in Newcastle in 2003 to study Town Planning. As Facilities Worker, Andrew manages the buildings at JPC and St Joseph's. He is married to Nicole.

She spent 9 years working for the Civil Service before joining the church staff full-time as an Admin Assistant. Dominique grew up in a Christian family and made a decision to trust in Jesus Christ at the age of 8. She grew up in Germany, France and DR Congo (then Zaire). In 2000 she came to Newcastle to study International Health and French at Northumbria University. She joined JPC the same year and volunteered for various international ministries at JPC over the years. She is married to Maarten and they have one daughter.

Having grown up in the sea-side town of Scarborough, Ettie gave her life to Christ aged 19, shortly before moving to Newcastle to study maths. Her new found faith was cemented here at JPC, where after graduating she joined the staff as a Parish Assistant. Ettie now works as our Video Production Co-ordinator, as well as the Executive Producer for Clayton TV.

Chris grew up in Singapore, where he attended church with family before coming to faith in his late teenage years. After coming to Newcastle to study Urban Planning in 2017 and graduating in 2020, he now works as a Ministry Assistant at JPC helping out with the internationals.

KC and his wife Emily have been involved in the life of the JPC Church family for many years. In recent times KC has taken on the role of Verger on top of his full time job. His behind-the-scenes responsiblities include opening and locking up the buildings before and after events and Sunday services and looking after the church grounds.
