      Toddler group is for parents, grandparents and carers with toddlers and pre-school children. We provide a large, fun and safe environment for you and your child to enjoy a variety of free play and structured activities. The session costs £2.50 per family (payable on the day).

      For those who have graduated in recent years, or are in their final year of a longer degree, we run Transit - a Bible study group which aims to support those starting work, looking for work, or pursuing further study. The group meets three weeks out of four in a church member's home close to JPC. All are welcome!

      Men: Join us for a curry night (provided by Cafe Spice) at Newcastle Cricket Club for good food and time together. 7pm for a 7:30pm start. Cost is £15.00 per person. The menu includes poppadom’s & homemade chutneys and pickles. A choice of main courses that come with rice and naan bread. There will be a bar available and a short talk on the Christian faith. Everyone is welcome  - so invite your friends to join us too.

      Cubs is all about doing great things, loving and enjoying great adventures and helping others to do the same. It's about 'doing your best', and we recognise this in our badge scheme. Cubs is also about learning by doing things, working in groups, and trying out new things. Cubs is a movement with a purpose and everything we do is about helping Cubs keep their promise to 'Do my best to do my duty to God and the Queen, to help other people and keep the cub scout law'. Cubs is for everyone - join in the adventure!

      Pool...table tennis...football...the world-famous Mix tuck shop...plus the chance to slow things down & hear from God's word every week.

      Now that legal requirements on e.g. social-distancing and face-masks have been lifted, we intend for The Mix to return as close as possible to normal. We'll still observe systems for good hygiene, but other than that it'll be The Mix you know and love! You no longer have to book: just come on down and pay the usual 50p entry on the door. And invite your mates: that's what The Mix is all about!

We'll still observe systems for good hygiene, but other than that it'll be the House you know and love! You no longer have to book: just come on down and pay the usual £2 entry on the door. And invite your mates: that's what House is all about!

      Paul was in a tricky situation - the Corinthians had told Paul that they wanted to give money for a collection that Paul was taking for struggling Christians in Jerusalem. So they started putting money aside... and then they just stopped... And Paul had to motivate them to continue to give willingly and generously.

      Our baby and toddler crèches are for children from birth to 18 months (baby crèche) and 18 to 24 months (toddler crèche). Doors open at 10:50am (10mins before the service starts) and children will be able to enjoy playing with our wide variety of toys and equiptment. There will also be a Bible time and craft for the toddlers each week.

      Children will be warmly welcomed and cared for by an experienced team leader and team of helpers, all of whom are regular church members who have been DBS (police) checked.

      Scramblers is our Sunday Group for pre-schoolers aged 24+ months. Doors open at 10:50am (10mins before the service starts) and we will have lots of free play time including playdough, building blocks, cars, trainset, home corner, books and puzzles; then a short talk from the Bible, some singing and a prayer, plus a creative activity.

      Join us at Pathfinders for relevant & fun Bible teaching, small group discussion to help us hear what God is saying to us today, & of course crazy games! 

      Now that legal requirements on e.g. social-distancing and face-masks have been lifted we intend for Pathfinders to return as close as possible to normal. The one change (for now) from how we used to run is that you'll now come directly to Pathfinders rather than sit in the first 10mins of the church service. So come to 3 Osborne Road any time from 10.45am onwards. We'll be there to meet you and will make sure you get back to church at the end of the service to find your parents. See you there!

      We meet at 1pm for a service which is conducted in Mandarin. If you are a Mandarin speaker, whether you are investigating the Christian faith, or a Christian wanting to know Christ better and serve others, you are welcome to join our JPC Internationals Mandarin Fellowship. The afternoon will include times of singing, a talk from the Bible and time in small groups with plenty of opportunity to ask questions and encourage one another to get to know and follow Jesus.       Come join us for CYFA! We study the Bible together in small groups, seeking to discover what God is saying about life today. If you're not in a CYFA small group just get in touch and we can set you up. It's open to everyone in school years 10-13 (or equivalent), so feel free to invite your mates along too.

      Now that legal requirements on e.g. social-distancing & face-masks have been lifted we intend for CYFA to return to normal. We'll still observe systems for good hygiene, but other than that it'll be proper CYFA, including the return of CYFA Tea! So come on down! Plus stay on for the 6.30pm service afterwards if you can - a lot of us head across together. See you there!

      In today's passage from 1 Corinthians, Paul goes from speaking about Jesus' resurrection, to giving instructions for the collection of money for the church. Paul's preoccupations had a great spiritual focus, but they were always grounded and practical too. In the same way, we will never get our priorities right before God if we don't have the gospel as our top priority.
