      Jesus taught his followers to live in the light of his return and not give way to the temptation of this world. How should we watch ourselves? Jonathan Redfearn shows us the danger of drifting away from Jesus and the urgency of real prayers.

      Dan McBride's children’s talk is on ‘I AM the True Vine' from John 15: 1-8 - Jesus says that he is the vine and he wants his disciples to grow fruit. What on earth is he talking about? Dan opens up John 15 and helps us understand what fruit it is that God wants to see grow in our lives, and the big reason why he wants it.

      We're Gathering Again!

      We're delighted that we are able to meet together to view our online morning service in the church building.

      The online service will still be broadcast as normal but this would be a way of viewing it together with other.

      Come and join us for CYFA! We study the Bible together in small groups, seeking to discover what God is saying to us about life today. If you're not yet in a CYFA small group just get in touch and we can set you up. It's open to everyone in school years 10-13 (or equivalent), so feel free to invite your mates along too.

      Due to the coronavirus situation we have had to change the way we do things. The general plan now is to alternate between meeting in person (spread across 3 Osborne Road and Eslington House) and meeting online. So make sure to check the dates above carefully and also check the 'CYFA (online)' event listing to find out where we're meeting on any given Sunday.

      Globe Café offers an opportunity for international students of all faith backgrounds to make friends with local people in Newcastle and practise English. Currently all events are on Zoom. We meet for chit chats, games and a topic for deeper discussion on values, worldviews and faith.       At JPC Internationals we start with a talk from the Bible. Then we break into different small groups to study the Bible, help each other to apply it to our lives and pray together. If you are new to Christianity, or would like to know more about what Christians believe, we have beginners small groups where you can learn more about Jesus and ask any questions you may have.

      We can't call in the ceilidh band or break out the big inflatables this year, but we can still have a Christmas Special! So mask up, drench yourself in antibac and join us for some excellent entertainment and a hope-filled Christmas talk from the Bible.

      Snacks are covered, but bring a soft drink and come in your finest Christmas attire: whether a tasteless jumper or just your head wrapped in tinsel. And invite your mates. Like we've said a lot this year: what else is there to do?! (jokes: it'll be class)
