Summer Series
Please join us from 7.45 for 8pm. The topic this year is 'Teach Us To Pray'. That's what one of Jesus' disciples asked him after listening to him pray: 'Lord, teach us to pray' (Luke 11.1). And in this year's Summer Series we're going to let the Lord teach us to pray by looking at six Bible passages on prayer – some of them telling us what to pray, some of them examples of prayer we can follow. It's easy to sit down to pray and find that your mind goes blank – or goes wandering. And it's so easy to pray in our small groups for the pressing things on our minds that we forget to ask, 'What are the pressing things on God's mind?' Who should we pray for? What should we pray for them? And what should we pray for ourselves, our church, our nation(s)? Come along to hear the Bible's answers… and to put them straight into practice, in prayer.
Open to all – please come if you’re able!
