If you've only found us on the web, we hope you'll come and see what we're like for real. You're welcome to try any of our Sunday services – they're at 10:45am and 6.30pm, and there's more information about them on our services page.
We're a large church family of all ages and many nationalities, with thriving children's and youth work as well as ministries especially for students and internationals. In addition we have groups for a wide range of people – from sporting to musical, from babies and toddlers to seniors. You can find out more at Groups & Events.
If you're just looking into what Christians believe, you're always welcome at any of our services. You might also like to join our Christianity Explored course – which is ideal, too, for Christians who'd like to be more sure about their faith. We run the follow-on course, Discipleship Explored, as well.
JPC is a large church, so to help you settle and feel you belong here we'd encourage you to join one of our small groups – where people can get to know one another. That's why we have Home Groups as well as groups especially for students, internationals and others – again, you can find them at Groups & Events.
The Bible says the church is 'the body of Christ' and that, 'the whole body grows and builds itself up in love as each part does its work' (Ephesians 4.16). So we want to support everyone at JPC in using their gifts to serve the church, making Jesus known to new people and making a difference for Jesus in public life.
People sometimes ask, 'What is there for me to do in a church that's already got so many people?' But since our vision is to grow, the answer is, 'Plenty!' So please take a look at our Mission and Vision – and do talk to any of us on the church staff about how you can belong and serve at JPC.
